Business Line of Credit around Roseneath
The sheet (read 7 October 2026) is dated 14 December 2020, more than a year old. Among its examples of medium impact industry are spray painting and surface coating, transport depot, warehousing and product manufacturing. It also says new houses are not supported in the precinct, though existing lawful houses will not be affected by the zoning.
None of these pages mentions credit, so what follows is our inference, not a rule: for a business in a precinct like this, the credit question is about the business. Treasury says consumer credit laws, including responsible lending obligations, do not generally apply to business and commercial lending. ASIC says small businesses commonly enter into standard form contracts for financial products such as business loans, and that the unfair contract terms law protects them from unfair terms in those contracts. The council sheet says nothing about credit, and we state nothing about any business in Roseneath.
